Poisonous Plants
I normally blog about wild edibles and garden plants; but I figured, I take the photos and do the research, so why not post those photos too. If you live in the Northern part of the US, you've probably seen some of these. Some photos are from my garden too.
You may be surprised how many garden flower are edible and look great in salads like Pansies, Day Lilies, Sweet William, plus many other. (See my Edible Garden Flowers, Edible Landscaping, and other edible posts.)
Baneberry
(next 3 photos)
White Baneberry, "Doll's Eyes", (Actaea Pachypoda)
Very poisonous.
Red Baneberry (Actaea Rubra) Very poisonous.
I believe this is the Red Baneberry. The White one, the
flowers are taller than wide while, the Red one, the flowers
are about as tall as wide; but they look very similar.
Bittersweet Nightshade
Spreading Dogbane
Dutchman Breeches
I have these in pink too.
Star of Bethlehem
Siberian Squill or Wood Squill
~ I'll add more as I find more photo ops. ~
